Colfax County Released Inmates is privately owned and has no affiliation with a government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers consumer-reporting or FCRA-covered services. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.
Nature of the Site
This is a private reference site that organizes links to Colfax County and New Mexico custody, release, supervision, and court-record resources. It stores no official record and cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a request or court paper.
Some pages connect visitors with third-party research tools. Those providers operate independently and set their own terms.

No Consumer Reports
Colfax County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. Visitors agree not to use any content for a decision about hiring or firing, tenancy or housing, creditworthiness, insurance, licenses, permits, government-program eligibility, or any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.
External Resources
Links may lead to jail and release records, sheriff or corrections pages, New Mexico courts, legal resources, federal locators, and outside search providers. A link does not endorse the destination. This site is not responsible for another service’s content, privacy practices, terms, prices, or availability.
No Warranties
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for a particular need. Partner results may omit records or return mismatches.
Custody and public-record systems change often. Nothing here is an official statement from VMDC, Colfax County, NMCD, a court, BOP, ICE, or another government office.
Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive harm arising from access, use, inability to use, reliance on content, or use of a linked service.
Indemnification
A visitor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from that visitor’s use, misconduct, or violation of these terms.
Ownership of Materials
Site text, original graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Colfax County Released Inmates or its content partners unless stated otherwise. They may not be copied, distributed, republished, or modified without written permission, subject to rights that law independently grants.
Term Updates
These terms may change at any time. Revised terms take effect when posted. Continued use after posting means the visitor accepts the revised wording.
Access to the Site
Access may be limited, suspended, or ended at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice. Provisions that should logically survive termination remain effective.
New Mexico Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in New Mexico.
Severability
If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay effective. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as necessary.
Terms Questions
Questions about these terms may be sent through the Contacts page. Government record and custody questions must go to the responsible office.
